Secure Online Ordering
Our “Tideland Direct” web site features a secure shopping cart which sends your payment through an encrypted server using SSL technology. Our site accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard.

Ordering
Tideland Direct web site takes advantage of simple menu systems to take you to the required products. Once an item is chosen it can be added to the shopping cart by clicking on the “add to cart” button. Some items require you to make a selection; color of lantern or flash character for example. Please ensure these are selected to ensure speedy delivery.

Taxes and Duties
For all orders within Texas, sales tax will be added to orders that do not have exemption certificates. For all other destinations, the purchaser is responsible for any additional sales taxes and/or import duties.

Customs and Importation for Overseas Customers
The purchaser is responsible for payment of any customs or import duties in their country. The goods will be shipped via UPS, DHL, Federal Express or similar carrier.

Shipment
Once your order is placed, Tideland will calculate the charges using UPS, DHL or Federal Express and advise you of that cost. Your credit card will not be debited until you confirm acceptance of the shipping charges.

Credit Card Payment
When you order, your credit card will be pre-authorized, but no funds will be debited from your account. Once you have confirmed your acceptance for the shipping charges, your credit card will be debited and the items will be shipped.

Shipment Tracking
Once shipment is effected, you will be advised of the tracking number or airway bill number.

Delivery
Most items offered are stock. If any item will take longer than two (2) weeks for ex-works delivery, you will be advised within 48 business hours from the time the order was placed.

Warranty and Replacement
The purchase products are warranted for twelve (12) months from ex-works delivery. Consumables such as lamps are not warranted.

Should an item be defective upon delivery, please notify us within 24 hours.

If you believe that an item has failed or is defective, please first read the manual. If this action fails and it is obviously damaged, please notify returns@tideland-direct.com, who will then provide an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. This number should be clearly visible on all packing materials. The damaged item will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Tideland. Tideland-Direct is not responsible for return shipment charges.
